Scanning Tunneling Microscopy, STM
The
new STM Module made by S.I.S. extends the universal AFM-controller SCANControl
C by the ability to measure
the topography by tunneling current. Finally the well-known STM
technique is also available in the usual small ULTRAObjective
format. The scanning head is 45 mm long and has 34 mm diameter. Like
all ULTRAObjectives
it may be integrated into the turret of an optical microscope, but for
highest resolution we recommend the PICOStation.
