Antivibration
Enclosure
High resolution equipment needs an efficient vibration isolation. No
matter where the location of the measuring system may be, sources of
disturbing vibrations are abound: building and floor vibrations
(vertical 5 - 30 Hz, horizontal
0.5 - 10 Hz),
acoustic vibrations (>20 Hz), motorized equipment and machinery
(10 - 500 Hz). |

In addition, acoustical noise may also affect AFM / SPM measurements.
Mechanical resonances within the inspection system pick up external
noise quite easily. Therefore, special care has to be taken in order to
avoid this effect. S.I.S. provides a complete antivibration workspace
that covers all aspects in noise reduction. It enables the operator to
obtain highest resolution results even in noise "polluted"
environments. In addition to the acoustic enclosure comes an active
vibration isolation platform: the signals coming from very sensitive
vibration detectors are analyzed by electronic circuitry, driving
electro - dynamic actuators which instantaneously
produce a
counter - force to compensate the vibration. Easy to
use, the
system provides excellent performance and requires no adjustments: just
switch on and start your experiments.
AEROSTAT
- the portable
bench top ionizer
Electrostatic charges arise during sample handling and in production
processes due to friction. Discharging systems neutralize such charges.
A large voltage is produced in the discharging unit, which is the
supply for a pin holder in the antistatic device. The electrostatic
field which is produced causes a neutralization of charge in the space
surrounding the antistatic devices.
